Multiple operating modes: You can choose from multiple operating modes on your Vida 2: turbo mode, normal mode and night mode.
Functional LED illumination:
Vida comes with a tastefully illuminated tank. The LEDs in the tank will light up blue during normal operation. Is the tank full? The tank light will switch to red, and Vida will switch off automatically. The tank light can be dimmed to night mode for nighttime use.
Space-saving:
It is not only its compact build that sets it apart from other clunky appliances in its class. Save floor space by using the stylish wall mount. Of course, Vida can also be used free-standing without the wall mount.
Permanent drain feature: Optionally you can hook up the included hose and hang it in a drain, sink or out of a window. This can be very convenient if you are not able to empty the tank regularly or when in high moisture conditions.
Freeze protection:
The device can automatically modulate its thermo-electric element in low-temperature environments so that Vida can be used all year round. Multiple operating modes. Thanks to its integrated freeze protection, you do not have to worry when using Vida 2 in unheated spaces.
Application recommendations:
Use your Vida in small enclosed rooms and spaces up to 30m2 in size. Vida is at home in washrooms, bathrooms, attics, cellars, and nearly any other enclosed space in your home. Many of our customers use the included drainage tube to utilize them in caravans, vacation homes and other places that they might not be able to visit often. Vida is not advised for large rooms or open, highly ventilated areas.
Working principle:
The Vida is a thermo-electric dehumidifier that does not use a compressor. This makes it energy efficient and relatively silent. The performance of small thermo-electric space dehumidifiers depends on the amount of water in the air and the temperature. The higher the air temperature, the more water the air can contain (relative humidity). At high room temperatures, the device needs to hard as it has to remove more moisture to decrease the relative humidity level. Vida will then collect up to 250ml of water per day, and you might need to empty the water tank often. In a colder room, there will be less water to capture, and the tank will fill more slowly. Is room temperature <10°C? There will not be much moisture in the air, and the tank will fill only slowly.
